Recommended Gaming Build for GW2 and More. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 8:31 PM (permalink)
I have been researching pre-built gaming computers for days and am still at a loss for what would be the best parts to build a good gaming system to run GW2.  Would like a graphic card such as Radeon 7870 with a power supply to handle it plus be able to upgrade easily for future games.  Also like USB a lot of USB ports, preferable in front.  I don't need a monitor, keyboard, or mouse.  Don't want to spend a lot of cash but want a decent system just the same.  Pls help:)

we'll use this as a starting point and you can tell me what you think:

It will have 2x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0 on the front (top) of the case, so it has good connectivity.

Thank you for your response. I think this looks like a pretty good build, however, I wanted to go with i7 processor instead of the i5.  I think while the i5 is efficient for what I want to accomplish now, I would still need to upgrade in the future.  Getting the i7 now would eliminate the need to upgrade the processor for a couple years at least, agree?  With that said, would you suggest any changes to the below going with the i7 versus the i5?
Also, do you know if iBUYPOWER offers any discounts for buying more than one station (computer)?

Baffles laid out a pretty good build for you. The only thing I could recommend would be to get a SSD primary drive and a large HDD data drive, but that all depends on your budget. Aside from that, the rest is just personal preference.

I don't know of any discounts for multiple systems.
